BEYOND THE f-STOP: PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR LIFE

Although this workshop will cover the technical issues of exposure, composition, aperture and shutter speed, our main focus will be creativity and content. In an intimate, non-judgmental atmosphere, we will explore our lives through photography, writing and discussion. Learn how to take better pictures while discovering your personal vision.
(NO PRIOR PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, BRING A 35MM SLR, POINT AND SHOOT OR DIGITAL CAMERA.)

ALTERNATIVE PROCESSES

This series of one-day workshops will teach about one of the following alternative processes: hand-coloring, Polaroid lifts and transfers, Liquid Light and Polaroid SX-70 manipulation. (Limited enrollment of 10.) (NO PRIOR PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.)

SELF-PUBLISHING: 101

Are you interested in publishing your own book? This workshop will give you the tools and information you need from inception to design to printing and marketing. SELF-PUBLISHING: 101 will give you the knowledge to realize your dream of producing your own book.

BLACK AND WHITE-BASIC DARKROOM

Learn how to print your own black and white photographs, Learn how to use an enlarger, correctly expose and develop your prints in a private darkroom. You will also learn how to equip your own darkroom space. (Limited enrollment of 5.) (NO PRIOR PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.)

PICTURING SAVANNAH

Savannah was named one of the most beautiful places in the United States by Parade Magazine in 2003. Spend a weekend photographing the lush squares, historic architecture and secret locales of this enchanting city. Fee includes accommodations and field trips. (NO PRIOR PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.)
